The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit says they were investigating information on drug distribution and use in the 1400 block of Canyon Dr. on Sunday when a vehicle was seen leaving the area of 1415 Canyon Dr. with two occupants.
Police say they stopped the vehicle. A Janesville Police Department K9 Officer and K9 were deployed to do a K9 drug sniff.
The K9 alerted on the vehicle resulting in officers locating and seizing quantities of THC inside. The two occupants were taken into custody, arrested and held at the Rock County Jail.
Officers say they continued developing information leading to a search warrant for drugs being drafted and signed for 1415 Canyon Dr. #15.
The search warrant was executed at the apartment. Two were taken into custody, arrested and held at the Rock County Jail. Officers located and seized quantities of THC, drug paraphernalia, and Ecstasy.
Officers say the total amount of seized THC from the traffic stop and search warrant was 217 grams, which carries an estimated street value around $3,000. The total amount of Ecstasy seized was 2.9 grams.
25-year-old Timothy Gilbertson was arrested and facing the following charges: Manufacture/ deliver THC three counts, running a drug house four counts, possession with intent to distribute THC, possession of Ecstasy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and bail jumping four counts.
25-year-old Kayla Newman was arrested and facing the following charges: running a drug house, possession with intent to distribute THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
19-year-old Jarod Ward was arrested and facing the following charges: possession with intent to distribute.
18-year-old Liana Moore was arrested and facing the following charges: possession with intent to distribute and running a drug vehicle.
