Madison, WI (Sept. 11, 2012) – On Sept.12, Dunkin’ Donuts, America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, will return to Madison for the first time in 16 years.

The new restaurant, which will open daily at 5 a.m., is located at 739 S. Gammon near Woodman’s Food Market. It is owned and operated by Travel Mart Inc. of Wisconsin Dells, which owns various gas and convenience stores in Wisconsin. Travel Mart currently owns two Dunkin’ Donuts in the Dells, one in Waunakee and one in Plover, and has plans to open three more in the Madison area.

“We’re proud to bring Dunkin’ Donuts coffee back to Madison and introduce this area to the many new food items that have taken Dunkin’ Donuts beyond a cup of coffee and a donut,” said Jeremy Alsaker, director of operations for Travel Mart. “Madison is a town filled with busy, hard-working people…we hope our new restaurant and others that are in development become convenient destinations for people looking for high-quality menu items that can be enjoyed all day.”

New items on the Dunkin’ Donuts menu include iced and frozen beverages, baked goods and the new bakery deli sandwiches including ham, turkey, chicken salad and tuna salad.

The new restaurant will feature a drive-thru window, outdoor seating, Wi-Fi, and USB outlets in the dining area for customer use and convenience. The restaurant will be open daily from 5 a.m. – 9 p.m., and the drive-thru window will be open 24 hours a day, every day.

The managers of the restaurant are all residents of the area, including General Manager Michael Woodward, Assistant Managers Sandy Kreger and Alexandra Mahairas, Shift Leader Lydia Sujewicz, and Shift Managers Tasha Ehrike, Jarquita Jambois and Michael Schaller.
