Janesville police report they responded to a robbery at 2:19 p.m. at the EZ Payday on 1603 Milton Ave.
A store employee called 911 saying the store was just robbed by a male subject wearing a mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and black jeans.
The clerk told police the suspect did not display a weapon, but kept a hand inside a black colored duffel bag and demanded all the money from the cash register.
The employee emptied the cash from the register and handed it to the suspect. The suspect then fled the business on foot running to a sliver colored Dodge Stratus parked in the Taco Bell at Milton Ave. and Blackbridge Road.
Police say the vehicle was occupied by two females. The suspect got into the vehicle as a passenger and the vehicle left the area.
A short time later, and officer located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle and occupants. A traffic stop was initiated and the three occupants were taken into custody.
Evidence located in the vehicle linked the the car and occupants to the crime.
Janesville Police Detectives interviewed the suspects and 22-year-old Damario J. Graham of Janesville admitted to committing the robbery. He was charged with armed robbery.
Police also say, 17-year-old and 18-year-old Marisela Santana of Janesville were charged with party to a crime.
