A Twitter-based scavenger hunt that has taken off in several large cities nationwide is now in Madison, and one family is $80 richer because of it.
The game, "Hidden Cash", involves a twitter account @hiddencash4wi posting anonymous clues to locations where cash is hidden.
Today, Barbara Brown and her kids followed the clues on Madison's east side and found an envelope taped outside a church. Inside the envelope, they found $80 in cash.
"Oh my gosh, I really couldn't believe it... it's a blessing," she said. "It makes us want to do the same thing and we're thinking about it."
Brown said she plans to use the money to take her kids to do something fun this summer.
The user behind @hiddencash4wi said more cash may be hidden this weekend.
