Incident Type: Theft

Address: West Towne Mall (Best Buy)
Suspect(s): Male, black, 25-30, 5'9" to 5'10", 180-200 pounds, stocky build, wearing a dark stocking cap with a short bill, dark baby coat, baggy jeans with studs on the back. Was seen smoking prior to incident.
Victim: Male, age 48, Mazomanie

Details: A Mazomanie father and son had parked the family's pickup in front of West Towne's Best Buy store Saturday evening as they loaded a 60" TV into the truck's bed. The son was standing on the passenger side, while his dad strapped down their new television set. Suddenly a brazen would-be thief got into the driver's seat and started the truck.
The son charged around, yelling: “What are you doing! He grabbed the stranger and yanked him out of the cab. His dad jumped off the back and chased the crook. He ended up getting away. A witness said the criminal got out of a 70's to 80's beige sedan with a loud muffler. The citizen described it as a "crappy" car with "really crazy fancy rims." A couple of other men were seen inside the get-away vehicle.
