Prairie du Chien Police say that so far there has not been any indication of foul play in the investigation of a furniture store fire.
The fire started just after 7 p.m. Sunday in the Slumberland Furniture store. Other stores in the shopping center also suffered smoke damage.
The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, Division of Criminal Investigation Office of the Wisconsin State Fire Marshal's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office are assisting police in the investigation.

A Prairie du Chien furniture store was destroyed after an overnight fire.
According the fire chief it started just after 7 p.m. Sunday night in the Slumberland Furniture store. Other stores in the shopping center also suffered smoke damage.
Residents living nearby the mall were evacuated for precautionary measures.
No injures were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Prairie du Chien Fire Department was on the scene of an all night shopping center fire.
The fire broke out just after 10 p.m. on the 700 block of Blackhawk Avenue.
According the the fire department, the fire started at the Slumberland Furniture store. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries have been reported.
