RIVER FALLS, Wis. (AP) -- Fire has destroyed a school bus carrying elementary students in western Wisconsin, but no one was hurt.
River Falls police say the bus caught fire near a street corner Thursday morning.
WCCO-TV (http://cbsloc.al/19jZaQi) reports all 40 students aboard the bus were evacuated safely, along with the driver.
The students were taken to school on a different bus.
School administrators were on hand to offer their support to students and to contact parents to let them know their children were not hurt.
Police did not say what they believe may have caused the fire.
