VIDEO REPORT: First Lady Campaigns In Wisconsin

Posted Thursday August 23, 2012 --- 5:22 p.m.

For the last few days abortion had been the focus for both parties following inflammatory remarks made by senate hopeful Todd Akin of Missouri.

Today the first lady refocused and shifted the conversation back to the economy and the president's accomplishments.

Michelle Obama received a warm welcome in Milwaukee. Her first stop was Bradley Tech High School on the city's south side.

Before Mrs. Obama started her pitch for four more years she shared a little of her own story. She talked about how she overcame hardships with help from her father and achieved her goal of a college education.

Much of the first lady's speech focused on choice and the clear cut decision she says voters will have to make in November.

Mrs. Obama touched on several topics including immigration, the economic recovery and health care. Saying that a vote for her husband is a vote for health care reform.

" Do we want these reforms to be repealed or do we want the people we love to have the care that they need?"

The first lady also reminded the audience that it was on her husband's watch that Osama Bin Laden was found and eliminated.

" I want to remind you after 10 long years of war, a decade of fighting, after so many of our heroic men and women in uniforms served and sacrificed and gave their lives Osama Bin Laden is no longer a threat to this country."

She closed her speech by asking the audience to get involved and to chants of four more years.
