UPDATE: Three Madison-Area Gas Stations Robbed In Hours; No Word if Crimes are Connected

Two armed robberies occurred Saturday morning, at approximately 7:06 AM and at 11:00 AM. The first armed robbery was at a PDQ store, 2402 W. Broadway, where a suspect displayed a small handgun. The suspect left on foot and a K-9 track was initiated, but the suspect not located.

The second armed robbery happened at 2801 Atwood, a Mobil Gas Station. The suspect appeared to wait for customers to leave and then approached the clerk demanding him to turn over his cash. No weapon was displayed, but the suspect implied he had a gun. The suspect appeared to have left the area on foot.

No shots were fired in either incidents and no one was injured.

Dane County authorities say two PDQ gas station were been robbed within two hours Saturday morning in the Madison area.

Here is more information on the first robbery --- from a press release from the Fitchburg Police Department:

On November 3, 2012 at approximately 5:04a.m., Fitchburg Police responded to an armed robbery at the PDQ gas station, 6308 McKee Rd.

The clerk reported a male subject entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. No one is in custody at this time.

The suspect was described as a male black approximately 160 pounds, 6'00", between 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a green jacked with a black hooded sweatshirt under the coat. The suspect had on a black stocking cap and had a distinctive mole on his right cheek.

Dane County authorities say two PDQ gas station were been robbed within two hours Saturday morning in the Madison area.

The latest happened around 7 a.m. at the PDQ on the 200-block of West Broadway. Dane County dispatchers say a suspect armed with a gun robbed the gas station. No one was injured.

This comes just two hours after an 5 a.m. robbery at the PDQ gas station near the corner of Verona Road and McKee Road in Fitchburg. No one was injured in that incident either.

The two stations are about 9 miles away and right now authorities have not said if the two robberies are related.

Fitchburg Police are searching for a man who robbed a PDQ at gunpoint.

Dane County dispatchers say it happened just after 5 a.m. Saturday morning at the PDQ gas station near the corner of Verona Road and McKee Road.

Our news partner WIBA is reporting the suspect is a 30 to 40-year-old man who used a gun to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.

County officials say no one was injured and police are still looking for the suspect.

    So "johnny", are you serious? To you they deserved these crimes because they did not hire you. You must be pulling our collective chain. If not getting hired by PDQ caused you emotional devastation and a breakdown, your problems far surpass any plusses being a cashier might offer. Ha Ha funny post, you got me.

    After being turned downed for a retail clerk position,and the emotional devastation and near break down that followed,I realized deep down in my heart,these unfortunate occurences could not have happened to a "nicer" company
