Fond du Lac County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a recalled state senator for allegedly committing domestic abuse. He was also cited for drunk driving.

On Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 10:15 pm the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic related incident on Rienzi Rd in the Township of Fond du Lac.
Pursuant to this investigation Randal B Hopper, 46 yrs of age, was cited for Operating While Intoxicated, 1st offense, and taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct –Domestic Abuse, Criminal Trespass to Dwelling and Unlawful use of Telephone.
Hopper was released from the Fond du Lac County Jail on October 22, 2012 at 11:00 am after posting a $500 cash bond.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office for review. No further details will be released at this time.
