Entrepreneurs, tech professionals and even foodies are descending upon Madison to innovate and collaborate.
Forward Fest is an eight day festival featuring 20 events, involving folks from all over the state.
Madison has become a go-to city when it comes to starting up a business. It's ranked by Forbes as the 33rd best place for business and careers and among the best cities for young adults to start a career.
That's exactly why Forward Fest was born. It was started five years ago by three businessmen as a way those thinking about starting a business or who are certain they want to to gather and share ideas.
It's not just about techies, there's even an event just for those looking a food-related business called the Edible Startup Summit.
"It's all about entrepreneurship and letting everyone know that Madison is an amazing place to grow and start a business whether you're in tech, biotech, or want to start a restaurant” says Bryan Chan, co-founder of Forward Fest.
