According to the Grant County Sheriff's Department, four people have been arrested and charged after Jordan Faulkner, 18, of Boscobel, died of a morphine overdose.
Faulkner overdosed on morphine and died Jan. 13, 2013. After a yearlong investigation by the Boscobel Police Department, The Richland Iowa Grant Drug Task Force, and the Department of Justice, the Division of Criminal Investigation has arrested four individuals who are all charged with distribution of a controlled substance, Morphine, a scheduled II controlled substance.
According to a release, Craig D. Bellis, 33; Mary E. Grant, 63; Brent A. Venglish, 46, and Thomas A. Kussmaul, 24, were arrested on January 9 and transported to the U.S. Marshall's office in Madison to await their initial appearance.
Bellis is currently in the Grant County Jail on unrelated charges, officials said.
An investigation is ongoing with more charges expected.
