WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Wausau police have identified a "person of interest" in the disappearance of a 22-year-old woman. The 32-year-old man is in the Marathon County Jail on a probation hold. He was previously interviewed by police when Stephanie Low vanished in October 2010.
JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be back in his hometown before he heads to the GOP convention in Florida. Campaign organizers have scheduled a "send-off" rally on Monday morning at Janesville Craig High School in Janesville. Ryan is scheduled to speak at the convention in Tampa on Wednesday.
BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Beloit College is showing an exhibition featuring American artist George Bellows. The works in the exhibit are lithographs from the collection of Victor Ferrall Jr., president emeritus of Beloit College. The exhibit opens at the Wright Museum of Art on September 13th.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Old World Wisconsin plans to offer a turn-of-the-century weekend this fall. The historical site will offer activities that Wisconsin settlers performed to prepare for the snow and cold. The event is scheduled to run all day on October 6th and again on October 7th.
