WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- A Wausau funeral home company has created a big traveling chalkboard to give people a chance to post their bucket lists.
The Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home was inspired by the international "Before I Die" movement which began with artist Candy Chang putting up a chalkboard on an abandoned building in New Orleans and encouraging anyone to share their aspirations. According to the "Before I Die" website, there are now more than 525 similar walls in dozens of countries.
For its 100th anniversary, the funeral home customized a trailer with chalkboard sides. It travels between the funeral home's five locations in Wisconsin.
Daily Herald Media says some of the responses written on the wall so far include "visit Paris," "go to Canada and fly a kite" and "love and be loved completely."
