The attempted hold-up happened at the Kelley Williamson Mobil at 33 Junction Ct. around 4:48 a.m. Monday.

The clerk offered the money, but when the robber saw that it wasn't much he told the employee not to worry about it, and left empty-handed.

Police describe the gunman as: Male, black, 6', wearing a black jacket, gray pants, black sneakers, black beanie hat and a dark scarf or bandanna which was tied around his face.
