From the Dane County Sheriff's Office:

Madison, WI. November 1, 2012 – At approximately 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 31st, a Dane County deputy came upon a white Chevrolet pick-up truck stopped in the lane of traffic on Pepsi Way in the town of Windsor.

The deputy approached the vehicle, which had its emergency lights on, and found the driver behind the wheel, but unresponsive.

The deputy began knocking on the window and yelling to the man to wake up, but he was unresponsive. After about 5 minutes the driver regained consciousness.

The investigation revealed Brandon N. Ziegler, age 22 of Deforest, had just used heroin and he was arrested for OWI (Controlled Substance)-2nd Offense. Heroin was located inside the vehicle, along with numerous items of paraphernalia.

After Ziegler was transported to Meriter Hospital for a blood draw and medical evaluation, he was booked into the Dane County Jail. In addition to the OWI, he is facing tentative charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

From what I understand, his mother bailed him out of jail and then they went straight to a local bar and got drunk. They went home and got in a huge fight and then his mother kicked him out! Why would a mother of a herion addict bail him out of jail and then take him to a bar and get him drunk?

Understanding addiction, and having a tolerance for it are two different things. You know when you choose to participate in these activites they can be deadly. And what makes you an addict?? You have to try it first, right?? Before that you are not an addict. How about you do yourself and your loved ones a favor and don't start. Keep making excuses tho.
