Janesville Man Arrested For 4th OWI

From the Janesville Police Department:

On 9/30/12 at 2:54 a.m. Officer Benjamin Thompson observed a 1987 Ford Bronco fail to stop at the flashing red traffic control signals at N. Parker Dr and Centerway St. 

Upon stopping the vehicle, Officer Thompson made contact with the driver, Pharon J. Voegeli, who smelled of the odor of intoxicants. 

Voegeli was given standardized field sobriety tests, which he failed, and was subsequently arrested for OWI.

Department of Transportation records showed Voegeli has three prior OWI convictions, and a valid driving status.

A blood draw at the Mercy Hospital Emergency Room was taken for testing.  He was transported to the Rock County Jail where he is being detained.

OWI 4th within five years (felony)
