Janesville Man Arrested For His 7th OWI Offense

From the Janesville Police Department:
On 09-30-2012 at 10:55 a.m. Officer’s were dispatched to the area of N. Oakhill Av. and W. Memorial Dr. for a truck stopped in the roadway. A witness reported the operator of the truck appeared to be intoxicated. Officers located Robert A. Schumacher walking in the area. After further investigation Schumacher was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
A legal blood draw was performed at the Rock County Jail. The results of the blood test are unknown at this time.
Schumacher had 6 prior OWI convictions. Schumacher also had an outstanding arrest warrant through the Department of Corrections. Schumacher is being held at the Rock County Jail.
