Janesville Woman Arrested For Alleged 4th OWI

Information from the Janesville Police Department:

On 10-11-2012 at 12:45 A.M. Officer Chad Woodman observed a vehicle speeding southbound on Milton Ave. He initiated a stop on the vehicle in the 500 block of Prairie Av. and during contact with the operator noticed a strong odor of intoxicants on her breath.

The operator identified as Melissa D. Rosenberg of Janesville, admitted to drinking and failed standardized field sobriety tests. She was arrested for OWI 4th offense and transported to Mercy Hospital North for a mandatory blood draw. The results of the tests are unknown at this time.

Rosenberg was also cited for operating after revocation and for having no insurance.
