Lt. Mark Rohloff appointed as Green Co. Sheriff

Governor Scott Walker has appointed Monroe Police Department Lieutenant Mark Rohloff to serve as the next sheriff of Green County.

Governor Scott Walker has appointed Monroe Police Department Lieutenant Mark Rohloff to serve as the next sheriff of Green County.

The appointment will be effective November 11th, with a term ending January 5th, 2015.

Rohloff's appointment comes after Sheriff Jeffrey Skatrud resigned.

Lt. Rohloff has been with the Monroe Police Department for 21 years, rising to second-in-command of the department and managing its daily operations. In addition, Lt. Rohloff served in the Janesville and Brodhead Police Departments and Wisconsin National Guard.
