Press Release form the Madison Fire Department:

At 6:54 this morning, Madison Fire was dispatched to a structure fire at 324 Kedzie Street. Dispatch included information about a person injured in the fire.

As firefighters were responding, they could see smoke in the sky above the building. Upon arrival, they found a fire outside the building. The fire was quickly extinguished. Fire crews checked the building to be sure the fire did not extend into the attic. The fire was confined to an outside wood enclosure on the backside of the building.

No one was transported to the hospital.

Since the fire involved a collectible motorcycle and the exterior of the building has some damage, the fire loss is estimated at $30,000.
Fire Investigators remain at the scene. Once a cause is determined, the information will be disseminated.
