From Madison Gas and Electric:

Over 90% of the power outages reported yesterday have been restored.
About 1,100 customers are currently without power.
Crews will begin work today at 6 a.m.
Additional utility crews from around the state will assist MGE today. Those crews, along with other hired contractors will nearly double MGE’s restoration work force.
The remaining customers out of power present the most challenges. Crews will be required to do more physical work in backyards and confined areas replacing broken poles, dealing with deep snow, severe tree damage and damage to homes.
Crews will be working all day and into the evening restoring power.

MGE reminds customers to stay clear of downed power lines.

Updates on work progress will be provided throughout the day. Check mge.com for instant updates on power outages.
