A 22-year old downtown resident fell an estimated 22 feet from a State St. roof onto a crevice between two buildings early Saturday morning. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. They were not thought to be life-threatening. The victim had been out on the roof with a female friend getting some fresh air. Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the accident.
