Details: Online dating went awry for a 25-year old Madison man Wednesday night. He ended up being kicked out of his own car at knife point, and in the process got a minor cut to his hand.

The predicament he found himself in, in the 5500 block of Ethelwyn Rd., began with correspondence, correspondence with a woman, someone he met through the Tagged.com website.

Following some internet chat he agreed to pick her up, so they could "hang out." He traveled to the woman’s community of residence – Stoughton - and found the 17-year old was not alone, but in the company of a female friend. The victim would drop the young women at East Towne Mall, and pick them up later. Only now there were three. Another man was getting into the victim's car, apparently in need of a ride to the South Towne Mall area.

While en route, the victim says the other guy pulled out a knife and told him to stop the car. He told him to park and get out. The victim thought the stranger was joking. He was not.

During the confrontation, the victim pushed the knife away, and sliced his thumb. The knife-wielding carjacker got behind the wheel, and the victim watched his car drive away. He then ran to a nearby home and called police.

UPDATED INFORMATION:
The stolen car was recovered Thursday while Monona Police were investigating a retail theft case at the Walmart Supercenter, 2151 Royal Ave. Monona PD contacted the Madison Police Department and arrests in the carjacking case were made.

If the date has answered all questions from your previous email they will have taken the time to read and understand and are more likely to be genuinely interested.

Hello, I just want to give credit where credit is due. My husband was the person who caught these 2 at the Super Walmart in Monona. If it weren't for him these two could still be out there somewhere and maybe actually hurt someone. So thank you so much for my husband for catching these two.
