From City of Madison:
Due to safety concerns related to blowing snow and ice, Metro has canceled all fixed-route and paratransit service for Friday, December 21.
Full service will resume at the start of the day on Saturday, December 22.
Metro's administration and lost and found office will also be closed on Friday.
Metro customer service phone reps will be available later this morning at 266-4466 to book paratransit rides and answer questions regarding service starting again on Saturday.

Metro Service on Friday Will Be Determined at 4:00 AM
With blowing snow still causing problems on city streets, the decision on Metro service for Friday will not be made until 4:00 AM.
At this point, all scenarios are being considered including either operating regularly scheduled service, delaying the start of service, or cancelling service altogether on Friday.
An update will be provided at approximately 4:30 AM.
Metro riders are encouraged to sign up for text/email alerts for all winter weather and other service updates.

A decision has not yet been made on whether to operate Metro service on Friday.
Staff are continuing to monitor conditions as the storm moves through.
At this point, all scenarios are being considered including either operating regularly scheduled service, delaying the start of service, or canceling service altogether on Friday.
Staff will make further determinations and provide an update tonight at 6 PM.

Metro Service Canceled - Thursday, December 20
Due to safety considerations based on current and projected weather conditions, Metro has canceled all fixed-route and paratransit bus service for today, Thursday, December 20.
Metro's administration/lost and found office is also closed for the day.
Service is expected to resume again Friday, December 21.
