Madison Police Arrest Arena Man for 4th Offense OWI

Arrested: Marshall S. Iverson, age 41, Arena, WI
Suspect was cited for speeding and arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 4th offense.

Details: The observations were made nearly simultaneously. A MPD officer was monitoring traffic on John Nolen Dr. Thursday night when a car sped by at approximately 60 mph. The officer activated his squad's emergency lights and siren and took off in the direction of the speeder. As he did, dispatch was airing information from a concerned citizen: "a little white car with a dented bumper flew by the (concerned citizen driver) so fast she (the witness) felt like she was standing still." The location of the call was John Nolen Dr., and the officer quickly concluded the car he was tailing was one in the same. The suspect driver did not immediately pull over, but did end up stopping on Railroad St. He was cited for speeding and arrested for his 4th offense of drunken driving.
