Madison Police: Burglar got into home through open window

Posted Friday, June 13, 2014 --- 4:16 p.m.

Madison Police say a burglar cut the screen of an open window to get into a Fahrenbrook Court home and stole electronics and other items.

It happened while three roommates slept. The burglar entered at least two bedrooms and took property.

The burglary was reported Friday morning.

The roommates had left the window open for fresh air. Madison Police urge residents to keep doors and windows locked to deter opportunistic criminals.
