UPDATE: Alleged peeper arrested at Madison Police station

UPDATED Friday, March 28, 2014 --- 1:32 p.m.

A man accused of exposing himself while peeping on a woman has been arrested after showing up at a police station.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Joseph Kempen Friday on tentative charges of Lewd & Lascivious Behavior and Disorderly Conduct.

Officers say he showed up at the Central District station Friday morning after learning that police were looking to talk with him. A photo had been released to the media.

Madison Police have released a photo of a man seen exposing himself while peeping on a woman.

The man was peeping in the window of a woman's ground level apartment in the 200 block of E. Mifflin St.

Police took the call around 8:25 Tuesday morning.

Madison Police are looking for a man who exposed himself while peeping on a woman.

Officers describe the peeper as: Male, white, 20-30 years old, short dark hair, wearing a blue baggy jacket and gray sweat pants.
