Madison Police search for armed man who robbed burrito place

Madison Police are searching for a man who robbed a burrito restaurant.

The armed robbery happened around 11:10 p.m. on Dec. 22nd at Burrito Drive at 310 S. Brearly St.

An employee tells police the robber pointed a gun at him and demanded he open the register.

The robber grabbed money and ran away. Officers used a police dog to search for him, but he's still on the loose.

Police describe the robber as: Male, black, mid-30's, 6'1" to 6'2", thin build, 170 to 180 pounds, short hair, facial stubble, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a green baseball cap.
