Madison Woman Arrested for 2nd Offense OWI and Hit & Run

Address: 1800 block Fordem Ave.

Arrested: Jammie D. Davis, age 26, Madison
Ms. Davis was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 2nd offense, Operating While Revoked and Hit & Run.

Details: A member of the MPD's Traffic Enforcement Safety Team was working speed enforcement in the 1300 block of E. Johnson St. Saturday afternoon when the call came out: there had just been a hit-and-run crash at Johnson and Blair St., and the suspect was outbound in a black SUV. Seconds later, a Chevy Blazer - smoke coming from its' frontend - came zipping past the TEST officer’s position.

The driver initially would not pull over, but later stopped in a Fordem Ave. parking lot. The 26-year old woman had bottles of beer and alcohol next to her. She was arrested on an assortment of charge, including drunken driving.
