Madison Woman Says Stranger Tried to Pull Her Into a Van

Suspect(s): Male, black, hair worn in dreadlocks, chubby face, driving a boxy, newer model blue minivan.
Victim(s): Female, age 33, Madison
Details: A 33-year old Madison woman said a stranger tried to pull her into his minivan Sunday night. She was walking in the 900 block of S. Park St. when the man pulled up and offered her a ride. When she ignored him, he got out and grabbed her arm, trying to pull her toward his vehicle.
She broke away, ran, and was able to find someone out walking a dog, and this person helped her summon police. An officer gave the victim a ride home. She last saw the van heading south on S. Park St.
