A Madison man, who garnered media attention by leaping off Monona Terrace and posting the escapade on YouTube, has been hit with just over $750 in fines.
Two citations - one for trespass, the other for unlawfully drinking alcohol on public property - were mailed to 25-year-old Steven Hoeg after an investigating officer verified his identity.
Staff at Monona Terrace notified police last week of the July 16th jump when a video was posted on the internet.
