Madison police seek two suspects after armed robbery near downtown Madison

Madison police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery near downtown Madison.

It happened around 11:00pm Friday, June 6th near the 300 block of East Mifflin Street.

According to the Madison Police Department, a 37-year-old man was taking items from his vehicle on East Mifflin Street, when two men, described as black and about 18 or 19 years old, approached him.
One of them pointed a gun at the man and demanded his phone and wallet. The suspects then took several of the man's belongings including a computer and camera equipment.

Police searched the area and could not find the suspects.
