WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AGENTS PARTNER WITH DANE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IN INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN OPERATION
David G. Schrankler of Madison Charged with 12 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
MADISON — On Thursday, July 28, 2011, Special Agents from the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members of the Dane County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence of David G. Schrankler, located at 5517 CTH CV #B, Madison, WI. Seized as a result of the search warrant were computers, numerous items of computer media, and miscellaneous documents.
According to the criminal complaint, a forensic preview by a DCI Forensic Analyst revealed numerous sexually explicit images of children.
Mr. Schrankler was arrested and transported to the Dane County Jail. Schrankler was charged with 12 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. A copy of the criminal complaint is available at:
