Man Hurt in Hit-and-Run in Grant County

From the Grant County Sheriff's Office:
On Dec. 5, 2012 at approximately 4:30 a.m., Cheryl Walton of Lancaster was driving on University Farm Rd., when she came upon a person lying in the roadway.
The person was identified as Jacob Colson 19, of Lancaster. Jacob reported that he was struck by a vehicle that fled from the scene.
Jacob was transported to Grant Regional Heath care by the Lancaster EMS, then transferred to UW-Madison by Med Fight due to his significant leg injury.
This incident remains under investigation at this time.
