Madison Police arrested a man for 3rd offense OWI after he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel of his van and crashed into an SUV.
The crash happened Monday afternoon on S. First St.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the van driver knew he crashed, but told an officer he didn't know if he hit bushes, a person or another vehicle.
“I just don't know … I'm drunk. Just give me a ticket,” the man is quoted in the police report.
