PLEASANTVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- A man trimming branches at his home in southwestern Wisconsin has died after his tractor overturned and pinned him underneath.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says 73-year-old Ardell M. Schroeder was trimming branches from a tractor at his home near Pleasantville just before 3 p.m. Friday when the tractor overturned.
Firefighters extracted him and he was put aboard a medical helicopter, but died of his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
