UPDATE: Man with disabled vehicle struck, killed

UPDATED Tuesday, January 28, 2014 --- 10:40 a.m.

TOWN OF SHERMAN, Wis. (AP) -- A motorist who landed in a ditch along a Sheboygan County highway has been struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.

Sheriff's officials say the motorist left his vehicle in the ditch and walked onto Highway 57 Monday evening where he struck and killed. The victim is identified as 42-year-old Jonathan Woodbury, of Adella. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle that hit him was not injured.
