At approximately 7:22 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2011, 53-year-old Chris Luster of Prairie Du Chien was driving his 2001 Ford Escape north on County Highway U. He was less than a mile north of Dutch Hollow Road, in Potosi Township, when his vehicle began to slide. The vehicle left the west side of the roadway and rolled several time, coming to rest on its wheels. Luster was not wearing his seatbelt and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Luster was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grant County Coroner. Assisting the Grant County Sheriff's Department was the Potosi Fire Department, Potosi EMS, and Donnies Towing of Dickeyville.
