WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- A former state probation and parole agent convicted of stealing prescription drugs has been sent to the Taycheedah women's prison in Fond du Lac County.
Forty-one-year-old Kim Hoenisch was sentenced to 18 months in prison after she was convicted of burglary, misconduct in public office, possession of narcotics and possession of a drug without a prescription. Hoenisch stole drugs from at least six victims, including several clients she supervised.
Hoenisch is a former employee of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections in Wausau and the wife of former Marathon County Sheriff Randy Hoenisch.
She was sentenced early this week and held in jail until she was transferred to prison Thursday. The Daily Herald Media says Hoenisch will spend an additional six years on probation following her release from prison.
