Marshall Police Investigate Report of Stranger Danger

Posted Tuesday, May 14, 2013 --- 10:30 a.m.

Marshall Police are looking for a suspicious man who approached a student Monday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3:35 p.m. in the Hemlock Lane area of the Evergreen Mobile Home Park. The student was walking home from school at the time.

The stranger approached while in his vehicle. He asked the student how far away they lived, and told the victim “you can get in the back seat so I can take you home.”

The student ran away, and parents contacted Marshall police.

The man is described as:
White Male
30 – 40 years old
Subjects Hair length was just below the baseball cap
Full, Short Beard and Mustache – Brown in Color
White T-Shirt
White Baseball Cap with a small blue logo on the front

His vehicle is described as:
Older Maroon colored vehicle, 4-doors
Possible Dent in the driver’s side rear door
Scratches in the paint and Paint wearing off in areas
Rust also in some areas
