McFarland, WI. The McFarland Police Department is investigating a possible attempted child enticement incident. On March 10, 2013 at 9:20 pm a 14 year old male was walking near the intersection of Ridge Rd. and Valley Dr. when a silver or gray 4-door sedan, possibly a Toyota Prius, stopped behind him in the roadway. The young male states that he had seen this vehicle pass by him twice before stopping.
An older white male with gray hair, gray goatee and possibly a bald spot on the top of his head exited the vehicle and asked if the young male needed a ride. The young male did not respond and continued walking. The older male reportedly then began “speed walking” toward the young male, who at this point began to run away. After a short distance the young male could no longer see the older male or his vehicle. No further information is available regarding the vehicle or the older male at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
