The UW-Madison campus community and others have an opportunity to provide feedback about the remake of the 700 and 800 blocks of State Street and Library Mall at a meeting Wednesday.
The meeting is set for 5 p.m. Sept. 18th in Memorial Union, Class of 1924 Reception Room, fourth floor.
Right now, the three main options for the project are an oval, a great lawn or something more historic.
Plans for the oval design and great lawn can be found by clicking HERE.
The city plans to reconstruct the State Street portion of the project beginning in May of 2014. The university will use preliminary plans for budgeting and reconstructing Library Mall in the future after funding is identified.
Another public meeting will be held in October.
