WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. (AP) -- Divers have recovered the body of a missing man from a river in the Wisconsin Dells.
Twenty-one-old Mitchel Blanchard of rural Paradeeville was reported missing by his family Sunday.
Wisconsin Dells police say they had responded to a disturbance call at Captain Brady's Showboat Saloon early Sunday and had tried to make contact with Blanchard.
Officers say Blanchard took off running and disappeared into a wooded area.
WISN-TV (http://bit.ly/1fqG1Wa ) reports investigators found Blanchard's vest near the Wisconsin River on Sunday, and located his body in the waters near a dam on Monday around noon.
The Columbia County medical examiner has scheduled an autopsy.

Columbia Co. authorities tell our photographer on scene that the body of Mitchel Blanchard has been found.
Blanchard, who was from rural Pardeeville, was reported missing over the weekend.
A dive team had been searching for Blanchard Monday.

From the Columbia County Sheriff's Office--
On April 27th, 2014 at approximately 3:00 pm the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office received a missing persons report. Family members reported that Mitchel Blanchard age 21 of rural Pardeeville was missing since approximately 2:00am in Wisconsin Dells. It was learned that Blanchard was last seen running by Wisconsin Dells Police Officers towards Broadway/STH13/16/23 in the early morning of April27th. This area is near the Kilbourn Dam and highway 13/16/23 bridge over the Wisconsin River. Blanchard was not located at that time by Officers. Blanchard is a white male with light brown hair about 5’10” and 200lbs. Blanchard was wearing brown pants a white shirt and tan vest with lavender tie.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has been assisted by the Columbia County Dive Team, Wisconsin Dells PD, WI DNR, Kilbourn Fire Dept. and Alliant Energy.
