UPDATED: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 --- 3:31p.m.

Release from Fitchburg Police Department:

On February 22, 2012, the Fitchburg Police Department took a report of a missing adult in the 2800 block of Coho St. A woman reported that her husband had left home on foot on Monday, February 13, 2012, and has not been seen since. The missing person’s name is Harvey Sackett. He is 61 years old. Due to existing health concerns there is reason to be concerned for his welfare. There is no reason to believe that foul play is involved. The Fitchburg Police Department has received additional information that Sackett may have access to a teal-colored mountain bike with rusty rims and a ripped seat. We continue to follow-up on information we receive from the community, but unfortunately the information has not led to finding Sackett. Please contact the Fitchburg Police Department, 608-270-4300, with any information related to his whereabouts.

Seems this man has been missing for so many days and not been found by whatever means the officials have used, the family needs to help bring in other resources to help officials find their loved one. Have the family contact scent specific K9's to help and work with the officials as this is what they do.
