JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- Paul Ryan will be back at his old high school in Janesville today for a send-off rally ahead of the Republican National Convention. Mitt Romney's running mate heads to the convention in Tampa after the rally.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Dane County judge is set to hear motions today as he considers whether to halt Wisconsin's new wolf hunt before it starts. A coalition of humane societies sued earlier this month to try to stop the hunt. The season is expected to begin October 15th.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- University of Wisconsin transportation officials are putting new restrictions on students' moped use. Moped owners will now have to apply for parking in one of 52 campus lots starting September 1st and could face a $40 ticket.
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- The largest freshwater surfing event in the world begins Friday along Lake Michigan in southeastern Wisconsin. The Dairyland Surf Classic will be held in Sheboygan from Friday through September 1st.
