WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) -- Republican vice presidential hopeful Paul Ryan will be back in his home state of Wisconsin today to attend a rally in Waukesha. Ryan is scheduled to appear at Carroll University. He went to a fundraiser in Milwaukee yesterday for GOP Senate candidate Tommy Thompson.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- New figures show that more than half the school districts in the four-county Milwaukee metro area had enrollment decreases at the start of the school year. But data released by the state shows that enrollment is up in some of Wisconsin's largest virtual charter schools.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin's first organized wolf hunt is finally set to begin today after months of contentious debate. The hunt will run through February and hunters can kill a total of 116 wolves.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Art Museum had more than 395,000 visitors during his 2012 fiscal year, which ended in August. That's the third-highest figure in the museum's history.
