Janesville Fire Injures One Person

One person is hospitalized after being pulled from a burning fire in Janesville.

According to the Janesville Fire Department, crews arrived around 4:30 p.m. Friday to a burning house on South Harmony Drive. Witnesses told firefighters that one person was still inside. They eventually found a person in the basement. They brought the person to safety and took them to a hospital, but there's no word on their condition. The firefighters extinguished the fire in the basement.

The fire caused about 55-thousand dollars in damage. The cause is still under investigation.
