The Green Bay Packers game at the New York Giants on Nov. 17 has been moved from prime time to the late afternoon slot, the NFL announced Friday.
The Packers-Giants game will air at 3:25 p.m. on FOX. The NBC Sunday night football game will be the Denver Broncos vs. the Kansas Chiefs.
While the Packers are currently 5-2, the Giants are 2-6 and in last place of the NFC East Division.
The NFL uses "flexible scheduling" on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 3:25 p.m.time slot on CBS or FOX.
Also on that day, the San Diego Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins moves to 3:05 p.m. on CBS.
