POYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities have identified the pilot of an ultralight plane that crashed in central Wisconsin.
James M. Sakowski, 57, of Oshkosh, died in the crash in a field west of Omro around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office said.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
